About me
Howard Middleton-Jones
Born on the Gower Peninsula, South West Wales, howard is a retired archaeologist, who specialised in Coptic Archaeology, where he has travelled to Egypt for over 30 years investigating sites.
He was a national swimmer and triathlete competing in many events, and instigated the Open Water swim training group at Langland Bay Swansea.
Howard has a keen interest in preparedness survival and off grid living, and was the first full time National Trust Warden on the Gower Peninsula in the 1970's living in a remote area on North Gower, Whiteford Burrows.
In 1999, Howard set up one of the earliest survival and preparedness websites, ambilacuk.com/safesurvival, the contents of which will be eventually transferred to this site.
Howard also runs a preparedness podcast, Beredskap.
